Owner
A little about John:
He loves making sure Knot & Rope customers have an excellent shopping experience by helping them select the right product at a great price.
Personal Hobbies/Interests:
When John's not working hard in the office or shop, you can find him working on his climbing skills, practicing his splicing or going for a run around town. As you can probably imagine, he enjoys tree climbing and personally testing all of the arborist ropes Knot & Rope Supply carries. When he says that he is running for lunch, he literally means that he's going for a run and that is his lunch.
What kind of music does John like?
Great question. He is a big fan of mid 80's rock. Another fact about John is that he loves to shred the frets on his electric guitar.

 Craig Keirstead
Customer Service Manager
A little about Craig:
He joined the team full-time in 2013 as the Customer Service Manager. If you call Knot & Rope Supply, there's a good chance that you will speak to Craig. Not only does he help customers with their orders and rope questions, but he also stocks and maintains our retail showroom. Oh yeah, if you're a fan of our Facebook page or follow us on Twitter, Craig is the one responsible for the witty posts and tweets.
Personal Hobbies/Interests:
Craig is an avid iPhone user and enjoys the daily challenge of trying to accomplish as much as possible with his phone instead of pen and paper. He also attempts to re-learn long forgotten Boy Scout knots from his youth while volunteering as a Scout leader in his son's Troop. In his free time Craig enjoys building masterpieces from LEGO with his son and will occasionally take his daughter and son into the great outdoors to go geocaching. Rarely does his wife tag along on these adventures, there are bugs out there.
What kind of music does Craig like?
Craig listens to various modern folk and string bands ("string" bands, get it?).

 Jeff Dunham
Manager of Visual Communications
A little about Jeff:
Jeff joined our team in 2012 and with a background in photography, graphic and multi media design, he is going to take Knot & Rope Supply to the next level. Whether it's the design of the website or the appearance of the monthly e-newsletters and printed materials for the shop, it's all reflective of Jeff's expertise. He also answers the phones taking orders and answering customer questions.
Personal Hobbies/Interests:
Jeff loves being active and trying new things that challenge him. He enjoys music, baseball, golf and spending time with his family. Don't forget to invite him out for a drink and karaoke, he knows how to have a good time and will sing anything, well, almost anything.
What kind of music does Jeff like?
Better yet, what kind of music doesn't he like? Jeff listens to anything and everything. He loves going out and listening to live music and can even play a little. He played trumpet all through school and even got into playing percussion and acoustic guitar.

Warehouse Extaordinaire
A little about Tom:
Tom processes and packs orders with the utmost care. He's also one of our master splicers and can end-whip rope with the best of them. And let's not forget how well he can handle a broom around the shop.
Personal Hobbies/Interests:
Tom loves to go hunting and fishing whenever he can. When he's not in the woods or baiting a hook, you can catch him watching the Detroit Tigers or The Fighting Irish of Notre Dame.
What kind of music does Tom like?
If it were up to Tom, there would be some rock, metal or classical music playing all day long in the shop.

Ryan Underwood
Shipping Specialist
A little about Ryan:
Ryan joined our team late 2012 and has since been roped into a few different roles in our warehouse. He has proven to be a star at shipping, stocking, maintenance and 3-strand splicing. Oh, we can't forget the 3-strand whipping either. There's no telling what's next for Ryan as there is always something new for him to learn and excel at.
Personal Hobbies/Interests:
When Ryan isn't busting out some hard core manila splices, you can find him tearing up the streets on his motorcycle. He has a passion for anything with an engine and at least two wheels. Ryan also loves to hunt and play/watch all kinds of sports.
What kind of music does Ryan like?
There's nothing like entering the shop and wondering what kind of music will be playing on the radio. Ryan's choice of music is "good ol' country", rock and Celtic music.

 Cody Brown
The Man (Part-time)
A little about Cody:
When Cody isn't hitting the books, he spends his time helping out in the warehouse. He fills orders, splices and whips 3-strand rope, cleans the shop and when it's nice outside, he cleans and shines John's car. Oh, don't forget one of his most important roles in the shop, keeping the shop groovy with good tunes on the radio.
Personal Hobbies/Interests:
You can describe Cody as an avid movie watcher, Chinese food connoisseur, video game player and road traveler. He thoroughly enjoys guzzling Cherry Coke and collecting vinyl music.
What kind of music does Cody like?
As Cody is the self proclaimed DJ of Knot & Rope Supply, he enjoys a plethora of music genres including: folk, classic rock, alternative and indie rock. Some of his favorite artists are Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Simon and Garfunkel.

 Bob "Mr. Twisty" Solon
Warehouse Man & General Spokesperson
A little about Bob:
Mr. Twisty is his (nick)name and tying knots is his game. Bob is our resident rope man; he ties all of the decorative knots for all special orders that come in the shop.
Personal Hobbies/Interests:
Bob enjoys reading, Geocaching, Marlinspike Seamanship and volunteering at Toledo Museum of Art.
What kind of music does Bob like?
When asked, "what kind of music do you like", Bob simply said "old". What a character.
