Write your review here: I used this rope to make a cargo net on a child's playground. It is working well. It's a good size for gripping with kid's hands, and the knots that I tied (Carrick bend knot) are good for footholds. I had experimented with a thicker rope, but the knots were a lot harder to tie and took up a lot more length of the rope.

Write your review here: I needed 100' of 3-strand polypropelene rope, I ordered it online from Knot and Rope, and it arrived at my door a couple days later. Every worked as it should have. I ordered this rope to supplement polypropelene rope I already have, and have used. Polypropelene rope is slippery, but this rope is slipperier than my current rope, and doesn't hold a knot as well. Knot & Rope suggestion....
Just for the record...we really DO NOT recommend this product for rigging, or directing trees for removal or trimming. This rope is not the best choice for this. While it is certainly inexpensive, there are much better ropes that are MUCH safer to use. Look in our arborist rope section under Bull Rope for some ideas on safe and strong ropes for this use....

Product Details
This is a great value rope perfect for a variety of uses.

  • This rope floats
  • Doesn't rot
  • Won't shrink when wet

Selecting this item is easy.....
To order, simply enter the number of feet you need in the box just left of the "add to cart" button and click on the add to cart button.

One issue with polypropylene to consider is that UV light slowly breaks down the fibers of the rope. Over time, if left outside, this rope will take on a rough and fuzzy appearance. This is perfectly normal, but makes the rope pretty scratchy.
