While better technology and design trends evolved, our staff embraced it to keep making the customer experience the best it could be. The web platform and our onsite customer service department always worked to help everyone who needed our products and service get what they needed quickly at a great price.
Today, I’m pleased to say that we are running knotandrope.com on the most robust service platforms on the planet. This allows us to have quick and efficient processes on the back end that help customers place orders and get customer service at the highest levels of proficiency they have come to expect. We have come a long way.
Over time, we have seen the imitators come and go. Plenty of companies have thought it is easy to just mimic our website, throw out some slick design and attempt to get your order. Imitation might be the sincerest form of flattery, but unfortunately, it’s the customers who get short changed. While the copy cats fade away, we stick around and keep growing.
The thousands of great customers we have serviced over the years testify to our longevity and ability to do what we promise. From small orders all the way to large bulk shipments, we can do it all and have been doing it for a long time. Our testimonials and customer reviews speak for themselves.
Knot & Rope is a lot more than just a website. From a shop space standpoint, our first shop was pretty modest. A simple 1,000 square foot space with an overhead door, located in a pretty sketchy part of town. That place didn’t even have heat, it was pretty rough. Fortunately, we outgrew that spot within a year and moved into a space double in size. With that move we finally had room to hold more inventory and even have a small retail operation. Within 3 years we outgrew that space and needed to double again. This brought about another move to a new shop. Since that time we doubled again and now have a great production space that serves us well. This is an important distinction to understand about Knot & Rope Supply, we are an actual rope shop…not a slick website that collects your order, sells your information and then arranges to drop ship your order by someone else. We have tons and tons of actual product on the floor ready to ship. We have actual skilled people running production and filling your order with quick shipping. Our splicing department is right here making perfect and safe splices for your job. When you place an order with us, you are not taking a chance on a fly by night company, you get real rope pros who know rope.
When you receive your rope shipment, you can trust that it has been handled by one of our skilled staff members. In fact, you might be interested to know that orders are picked and boxed by one person and then double checked by another prior to closing the box and putting the label on. We do things like this to make sure your order is right the first time.
So, our shop staff is busy getting orders out the door, but our office staff is just as important. When you call us with a question or an order you will get a real human that can happily assist you. Our visual department works to ensure the best photos and video content are on our site in order to help you clearly learn about our products and services.

All in all, things have turned out well. We enjoy coming into work every day and have fun at work. Throw in our company cookouts or “Free Lunch Fridays”, add in some company outings and it makes for a nice place to work.
